This is a two-day class organized by the Girl Develop It group and offers an introductions to SASS, or Syntactically Awesome Stylesheets. The classes are on Tuesday, July 14 and Thursday, July 16 from 6-8:30 PM on both nights. SASS is a CSS meta-language that will make CSS more powerful and elegant.
A laptop and power cord are required for the course. You also must install the text editor Sublime Text 2, Google Chrome and Sass for the Command Line. Also see required perquisite classes.

To benefit from this class, you must have a working knowledge of HTML & CSS. You may have taken Intro to HTML and/or Intermediate HTML5/CSS3 through Girl Develop It, and have built your own site or already build websites regularly. You're comfortable with writing CSS already and are ready to take your skills to the next level. Please take our required CSS quiz to make sure you're ready for this class. A 7 out of 10 score means you qualify to take this class. You should also have at least a passing familiarity with opening and using the Terminal or Command Line on your preferred operating system.
