Champlain Mini Maker Faire

  • Shelburne Farms Coach Barn 1611 Harbor Road Shelburne, Vermont 05482 (map)

Champlain Maker Faire is a high end maker faire at Shelburne Farms. Champlain Maker Faire acts as a catalyst to grow making across the region.  Champlain Maker Faire was founded to change our culture so people, especially young ones, say "Yes, I can do that", to start makerspaces in communities, libraries and schools, to create networks and resources for aspiring and experienced makers, and to expand other celebrations of making across the region.  As a result, Vermont is leading the nation as a maker state.  Maker Faire showcases all that is creative and innovative in our community.

Join hundreds of visitors at Shelburne Farms for the 2015 Champlain Mini Maker Faire. Dozens of makers will be exhibiting in the fourth annual event aimed to celebrate the DIY/homegrown invention movement. Projects ranging from home-built robots, video games and miniature race cars to hand-made musical instruments, sustainable micro-gardens and more. Apply to be a maker at the Faire; the deadline for applications is August 9.
